(Glue-2408) Listcube Fetchers

Listcube Fetchers allow you to read data using BW objects as data sources using a similar approach to SAP transaction LISTCUBE. They support multiple objects that can be specified as a source.

Currently, the following objects are supported:

  • Standard DSOs

  • Advanced DSOs (except field-based ADSOs)

  • InfoCubes

  • Multi providers

  • Virtual providers

  • Open ODS views

  • HANA Composite providers

Creating Listcube Fetchers

Perform the steps provided under Creating Fetcher Objects and select Listcube Fetcher from the Component implementation drop-down menu in step 7.

Activating Listcube Fetchers

After creation, the object is in the saved state.

The following information is mandatory before the activation

  • InfoProvider

    • Name of the InfoProvider the data will be read from

    • F4 help is available

    • Currently, not all InfoProviders are supported. Check the list of supported objects above.

  • Delta type

    • A drop-down menu with all available delta types

    • For more information, see the chapter Delta type

  • Load type

    • Default extraction type

    • It can be changed before each extraction

    • For more information, see the chapter Load type

The following information is optional before the activation

  • Use DB aggregation

    • Checkbox for using database aggregation

  • Use Cube aggregates

    • Checkbox for using InfoCube aggregates

  • Skip Navigational attributes

    • Checkbox for disabling extraction of navigational attributes

  • Selection

    • Non-editable checkbox for each InfoObject of the InfoProvider indicating the navigational attribute

    • Checkbox for each field/InfoObject of the InfoProvider that allows you to select the relevant input for selection before the extraction

Delta type

Currently, the following delta types are supported by Listcube Fetchers

  • FULL

  • DATE

  • TIMESTAMP

  • VALUE

  • REQUEST
