Query analysis and adjustment

There are two main scenarios of query usage:

• DSO under MultiProvider or
• DSO/ADSO under CompositeProvider

A MultiProvider combines DSOs with a VirtualProvider and a CompositeProvider combines DSOs/ADSOs with a VirtualProvider. SNP OutBoard™ Data Tiering generates a VirtualProvider, which connects to the offloaded table and reads the offloaded data.
This setup enables us to read offloaded data from a query.

Impact analysis searches for MultiProviders/CompositeProviders according to these criteria:

• DSO is assigned to MultiProvider or
• DSO/ADSO is assigned to a CompositeProvider
