(Glue-2111) (Deprecated) Folders in Object tree
Object Navigator’s tree of objects can be changed by setting Enable Folders in Object navigator in Glue Settings. By enabling this setting, all packages will be assigned to the folders. The initial state is that all packages with Glue Objects are in one “DEFAULT” folder.
When Enable Folder in Object navigator setting is enabled, all packages have an additional option in the floating menu after selecting from the context menu.
The Change folder option will raise the pop-up Assign package to folder. The pop-up screen is separated into two parts. Folder modification part consists of a button and two mandatory inputs for the Folder name and Folder description. The Add/Update button will create a non-existing folder or change the description for an already existing one. The second part consists of an input dropdown with all created folders to which the selected package will be assigned after the confirmation. The default value of the Assign to folder dropdown is currently assigned folder.
After selecting from the context menu of any folder, the floating menu with the Delete option appears. After the deletion of the folder, all assigned packages will be reassigned to the DEFAULT folder. The DEFAULT folder cannot be deleted.
In the Object Navigator tree, only the folders which have assigned at least one relevant package are displayed.
