(1811) DataTiering Request Browser

The DataTiering Request Browser offers an overview of request information for the selected DataProvider.

To access DataTiering Request Browser, click Manage on the main screen.



The following screen appears:


Information about individual fields:

DataProvider

Name of the selected DataProvider

Request ID

Request number. To display more request information, click on icon in this column.

Logs

Logs for Request ID are shown after clicking on the icon in this column

Offloading condition

Offloading condition used for the request

Phase

Displays process phase in text form

Activity

By clicking on the icon in this column, you can start these activities:
Repair – reruns the process from the failed phase
Reload – starts the reload process

Status

Status of a request can be:
Running – process is running
Processed – process finished successfully
Failed – error occurred during the process
Scheduled – Offloading is scheduled

Number of archived records for Request ID

Statistics

To display request statistics, click on the icon in this column.

User Name

Name of the user who created the request

Start Date

Date of request creation

Start Time

Time of request creation

End Date

Date of request end

End Time

Data Browser
The Data Browser enables you to view data, which is offloaded for the selected DataProvider.

To access this data select a DataProvider and click on Data Browser


The functionality is similar to the standard ABAP Data Browser (SE16). The table name consists of ZOFF prefix and the DataProvider name. However, if the DataProvider name is longer than 12 characters, the respective target table name is generated as shown on the figure.
 


Request ID
Displays detailed information about a request. In the case the request contains more partitioning requests, they can be also accessed with a click on the Request ID.


  


Logs
Displays logs for the selected request. By clicking on the icon Logs, you can display logs for the selected offloading request ID or for the partitioning requests.
 


Statistics
More details (user, date and time, duration of processing) about request phases and detailed processing history can be viewed under Statistics.

The are 6 different phases of a request:

  1. Offload Copy: Requested records are copied from the source table to the target table.
  2. Offload Verify: This phase verifies if the copied records are same as the requested records.
  3. Offload Delete: Requested records are deleted from the source table.
  4. Reload Copy: Requested records are copied from the target table to the source table.
  5. Reload Verify: This phase verifies if the copied records are same as the requested records.
  6. Reload Delete: Requested records are deleted from the target table.
     


History

In Request statistics you can view a detailed history of request processing.
