Prerequisites

• You have obtained the OutBoard Housekeeping transport
• You have obtained a valid license from your DataVard consultant
• System has Add-Ons:
  • SAP_BASIS700 or higher *
  • SAP_BW 700 or higher *

*If you have add-on versions older than 701 SP15, ask us for release-specific package Core

Step by step installation

1. OutBoard Housekeeping installation package is set of the following transports:

• Reuse Library (part of distribution package)
• Core, Basis, BW, ERP central & CRM central (this transport is mandatory)
• ERP (contains the executing part of ERP tasks)
• CRM (contains the executing part of CRM tasks)

Required transports must be copied into Transport Directory of a target SAP system.

2. Access Transport Management System by the entering the transaction STMS.

3. Select the target system.

4. Add the particular transports via menu Extras -> Other Request -> Add.

5. Select transports one by one in the required order and import then by clicking the icon .

6. Access the OutBoard Housekeeping Cockpit by entering the transaction /DVD/ERNA in the target system. OutBoard Housekeeping splash screen will be displayed while RFC connections are being checked.

7. Go to the title bar, click on DataVard button and in the popup menu select OutBoard Housekeeping – License.

8. Check "Number of licensed systems" and fix it, if it differs from ordered one. Number of used systems cannot exceed the number of licensed systems.

9. Click the button "Copy to clipboard" to obtain the data required for license generation and send them to DataVard consultant by mail (or you can do this directly by clicking the button "Ask for license").

10. Insert the valid license key and "Valid to" date to the screen from the previous point.

11. Access Role Maintenance by entering the transaction PFCG. Import required roles (see section "Authorizations") and assess them to the users. With 2.64 release, new roles /DVD/ERNA_ADMIN and /DVD/ERNA_USER are present. They include all needed authorizations and can be added to roles of OutBoard Housekeeping users.

12. Create systems landscape (see section "Landscape Editor").

OData & Fiori setup

How to setup OData application

Prerequisites

• Outboard Housekeeping OData transport imported on the system

Setup of OData service

1. Activate SAP NetWeaver Gateway (if it isn't activated already):
   • Run transaction code /IWFND/IWF_ACTIVATE.
   • Click on button Activate.
     
     
2. Create system alias (if does not exist yet):
   • Run transaction code SM30.
   • Put /IWFND/V_DFSYAL into Table/View field.
   • Click on button Maintain.
   • Create entry for local system if it was not created yet.  

• • Assign Alias to OData gateway service:

3. Add OData service

1. • Run transaction code /IWFND/MAINT_SERVICE and click on Add service (if you are unable to run the transaction try to run it with prefix /n).
   • Set system alias filter to "LOCAL".
   • Click on Get services.
   • Select services that you want to add and click on Add Selected Services. Required services:
     • FS_SRV
     • HS_BODATA_SRV
     • RL_SETT_SRV

1. • Select prefix "Z" and package assignment "$TMP" for selected services and confirm. 

4. Activate the OData service

1. • Go back.
   • Click on previously added services and for each of them follow these steps:
     • On down left side of screen click on ICF Node and chose Configure (SICF).

• • Right click on service and choose Activate Service.
    • After service is activated click on Test Service. Browser window should be opened with information about OData Service. 

After each service is activated, go back to transaction /IWFND/MAINT_SERVICE and click on Load Metadata.

How to setup Fiori application

Prerequisites

• Insights OData services are up and running (See previous section).
• Outboard Housekeeping Fiori application transport is imported into system.

Setup steps

1. Enable UI5 Web application:
   • Run transaction code SICF.
   • Enter service path: /sap/public/bc/ui2. Execute (F8).

• • Right click on node ui2 and chose Activate Service if not activated yet

• • Change service path on top to: /sap/bc/ui2/start_up.
  • Click on button Apply.
  • Do right click on node start_up and chose activate if not activated yet.
  • Change service path on top to: /sap/bc/ui5_ui5/dvd/. 
  • Click on button Apply.
  • Expand "dvd" node.
  • Right click on following node and choose activate:
    • FIORI
  • Right click on node "FIORI" and click Test Service.

2. Web browser should display open url with similliar url as "http://vsks035.datavard.com:8032/sap/bc/ui5_ui5/dvd/fiori/index.html?sap-client=001". To correctly display Outboard Housekeeping application this url should be adjusted by replacing "/sap/bc/ui5_ui5/dvd/fiori.index.html" with "/sap/bc/ui5_ui5/dvd/fiori/dvd_fs/index.html".
