(GLUE-1806) Storage to SAP

This is a abstract description of the extraction process, by which data is inserted into a SAP landscape. The storage can be any technology capable of providing data and supported by Datavard Storage Management.

Extraction process

The route Storage to SAP is a simpler process than SAP to storage. This process doesn't offer transformation rules or deltas.

Data from a storage may not be unique. for example in the case Hadoop engines don't have primary keys, data in tables can be duplicate. When duplicate data is inserted into a SAP table, an error occurs and as a consequence all data transferred within the current transaction is deleted.

Data selection

The user defines an origin of data as a technical source, which can be represented by a table on any storage type supported by our Storage Management. The user can specify the data selection with extractor variants that represent a where condition in data query.

Automatic field mapping

Glue enables you to regenerate field mapping. Automatic field mapping links fields with the same name of the target and source table and ignores all changes, which were performed before.
