(Glue-2502)(preview) SAP Extractor Fetcher
SAP Extractor Fetcher is a type of Fetcher in SNP Glue used to extract data from DataSources using the BW Service API (SAPI). It supports the filtering of selected data and extraction of delta. This functionality is a preview feature meaning it’s not production-ready as of now.

Creating SAP Extractor Fetcher
Perform the steps provided under How to Create a Fetcher Object and select SAP Extractor Fetcher from the Component implementation in the drop-down. Glue Object Generator can also be used to create the whole extraction scenario for DataSources.
Activating SAP Extractor Fetcher
After creation, the object is in the saved state.
Parameters
DataSource: Name of the DataSource.
Delta Type: Drop-down menu with all available delta types.
FULL: Only full-load extraction is supported.
DATASOURCE DELTA: Delta mechanism based on the type of the DataSource and its Delta Process.
Logical System: Glue Logical System must be specified if Delta Type DATASOURCE DELTA is selected.
Selection: The checkbox for each field of the DataSource structure allows you to mark them as relevant for selection before the extraction.
Glue Logical System
Glue-managed logical system used as a receiver during Glue extractions. To maintain Glue logical systems navigate to SNP Glue cockpit (/DVD/GLUE) and in the menu access Tools > SAP Extractor > Glue logical system.
Create a Glue logical system
To create Glue managed logical system fill Logical System name and press Create. Other settings are prefilled.
Delete Glue logical system
To delete the Glue managed logical system fill Logical System name and press Delete.
Display Glue logical system/s
To display Glue managed logical system in detail fill Logical System name and press Display. To list all Glue logical systems present on the system press Display All Glue Receivers.
Limitations of the preview version
Hierarchical DataSources are not supported.
Some DataSource Extraction Methods and Delta Process Types might not be supported.
