(DI-2311) Query Statistics Automatic InfoObject Exclusion
CrystalBridge® Monitoring Query Statistics functionality contains the safety feature to minimize the impact on reporting performance in the customer system. If the processing of query filters during query execution exceeds set time, the threshold following functionality is triggered:
- Query filters are processed and InfoObject with most occurrences (e.g., 0MATERIAL with 10 000 I EQ XXX filters) is automatically added to the list of excluded InfoObjects.
- Every other execution of CrystalBridge® Monitoring Query Statistics collection will omit filters on such InfoObjects (globally) therefore decreasing processing time (impact on reporting performance) and space needed (excluded filter values are not saved in DB).
- Standard time characteristics (0CALYEAR, 0CALMONTH, 0CALWEEK, 0CALDAY, 0FISCYEAR, 0FISCPER) are never excluded.
Each automatically excluded InfoObject can be found in the list available in program /DVD/QS_CONFIG.
- Execute program /DVD/QS_CONFIG through SE38 transaction or use transaction /DVD/QS_CONF.
- Click on the "Exclude characteristics" button.
- A list of all automatically excluded InfoObjects can be observed in the below-displayed table with also numeric value (in seconds) that shows what processing time of the query was reached when this exclusion happened.
- Automatically excluded InfoObjects are present in the select option with other user-defined exclusion selections.
- Users can change the processing time limit that triggers exclusion by changing the value in the "Processing time limit" field from default value 1 (in seconds).
