(Glue-2208) Listcube Fetcher

Listcube Fetcher allows you to read data using BW objects as data sources using a similar approach as SAP transaction LISTCUBE. It supports multiple objects that can be specified as a source.

Currently, the following objects are supported:

  • Standard DSOs

  • Advanced DSOs (except field-based ADSOs)

  • InfoCubes

  • Multi providers

  • Virtual providers

  • Open ODS views

  • HANA Composite providers

Creation of a Listcube Fetcher

Perform the steps outlined in How to Create a Fetcher Object with Listcube Fetcher as the option selected under the Component implementation dropdown of step 4.

Activation of a Listcube Fetcher

After creation, the object is in the saved state.

Mandatory inputs to be filled before the activation

  • InfoProvider

    • name of the InfoProvider the data will be read from

    • you can use the provided F4

    • currently, not all InfoProviders are supported, please check the list of supported objects from the introduction of this page.

  • Delta type

    • a dropdown menu with all available delta types

  • Load type

    • default extraction type

    • changeable before each extraction

Optional inputs before the activation

  • Use DB aggregation

    • checkbox for using Database aggregation

  • Use Cube aggregates

    • checkbox for using InfoCube aggregates

  • Selection

    • not editable checkbox for each InfoObject of the InfoProvider indicating Navigational Attribute

    • checkbox for each field/InfoObject of the InfoProvider that allows you to select the relevant input for selection before the extraction

Delta type

Currently, delta type FULL, DATE, TIMESTAMP, and VALUE is supported by Listcube Fetcher.
