Prerequisites

SAP System:

• SAP with ABAP-Stack higher than 7.0.1
• Java Runtime Environment 11 (https://sap.github.io/SapMachine/)

Installation

The SNP Glue™ content is delivered with transport requests and must be imported using the Transport Management System (transaction STMS).

 A complete SNP Glue™ transport contains two components:

• Reuse library 
• SNP Glue™

Import of transports step by step

For each component mentioned above, you must:

1. Copy transports into a transport directory of a target SAP system.
2. Access Transport Management System by entering the transaction STMS.

4. Add the particular transports via the menu Extras -> Other Request -> Add

5. Select the desired transport and import it by clicking the icon  
6. Access the SNP Glue™ Cockpit by entering the transaction /DVD/GLUE in the target system 

License installation

Within the first run, the license must be installed. The license for SNP Glue™ is either time-bound and expires after a certain time period, or is unlimited (until 31.12.9999). As the license is bound to a system, every new system with installed SNP Glue™ requires a new license.

In SNP Glue™ Cockpit, click on License-> License

A new dialog appears. Here you enter all license information. If you do not possess a license, please contact our Support team.

Special content (ERP)

After you complete the previous steps and SNP Glue™ is successfully installed, it is necessary to execute the report '/DVD/GL_BPL_SPKFL_CONTENT_GEN' and the '/DVD/GL_DD_SPKFL_CONTENT_GEN' which generates content for the special functionality called Meaningful values. For more information on how to use or set up this functionality, please see the chapter SNP Glue™ User Guide.

Uninstallation

Please contact our Support team at product_support@snpgroup.com in case you would like to uninstall SNP Glue™.
