(OH-2202) Set Up and Install

Prerequisites

  • You have obtained the SNP OutBoard™ Housekeeping transport

  • You have obtained a valid license from your consultant

  • The system has Add-Ons:

    • SAP_BASIS700 or higher *

    • SAP_BW 700 or higher *

*If you have add-on versions older than 701 SP15, ask us for release-specific package Core

SNP OutBoard™ Housekeeping supports SAP BW/4HANA and SAP S/4HANA systems.

Step by Step installation guide

 

  1. SNP OutBoard™ Housekeeping installation package is set of the following transports:

  • Reuse Library (part of distribution package)

  • Core, Basis, BW, ERP central & CRM central (this transport is mandatory)

  • ERP (contains the executing part of ERP tasks)

  • CRM (contains the executing part of CRM tasks)

How to install the transport

2. Access the SNP OutBoard™ Housekeeping Cockpit by entering the transaction /DVD/ERNA in the target system. SNP OutBoard™ Housekeeping splash screen will be displayed while RFC connections are being checked.

3. Go to the title bar, click on the top left corner button, and in the popup menu select SNP OutBoard™ Housekeeping – License.

4. Check "Number of licensed systems" and fix it, if it differs from the ordered one. The number of used systems cannot exceed the number of licensed systems.

5. Click the button "Copy to clipboard" to obtain the data required for license generation and send them to your consultant by mail (or you can do this directly by clicking the button "Ask for a license").

6. Insert the valid license key and "Valid to" date to the screen from the previous point.

7. Access Role Maintenance by entering the transaction PFCG. Import required roles (see the section "Authorizations") and assess them to the users. With the 2.64 release, new roles /DVD/ERNA_ADMIN and /DVD/ERNA_USER are present. They include all needed authorizations and can be added to the roles of SNP OutBoard™ Housekeeping users.

8. Create a systems landscape (more info can be found in the chapter Landscape Editor).
