(Glue-2202) Object Navigator

In general, the SNP Glue™ Workbench gives you the possibility to use the whole SNP Glue™ functionality from one place. 

The Object Navigator has two primary areas: the navigation area and the tool area. The navigation area is used for the hierarchical display of lists of development objects, also known as object lists. The list of the currently active browsers is also displayed there. The tool area is not a part of the Object Navigator. It only provides a window where various development tools are open. In both areas, you can select functions from a context menu. The options available in the context menu are different for the various development objects.

There is a possibility to mass delete, mass activate, or deactivate selected objects. To perform this action one or more objects need to be selected first. The next step is to click one of the three buttons in the tool area either for Mass deletion, Mass activation or Mass deactivation. After this, a popup window will be displayed asking you to confirm the action. Mass deletion, activation and deactivation will automatically skip a package object, if selected, so you can perform these operations on a large number of objects quickly by selecting them using shift + mouse click.

There is also a possibility to delete all objects of a package. Access this functionality using the context menu of one of the packages.

In the Object Navigator, you have a complete overview of the development objects. This gives you an advantage that while editing an object, you can still see the other lower- or higher-level objects belonging to the same package.

Tool areas are exactly the same as SNP Glue™ Edit screens for most of the SNP Glue™ objects are described in the documentation for particular SNP Glue™ components:

• InfoProviders - InfoProvider Management, transaction /DVD/GLIP

Additionally, Extractor 2.0 objects, Business Objects and Delta Merge setup is reachable from the Object Navigator.
