(Glue-2011) Storage to Storage
Storage to Storage scenario can be used if you want to replicate the data between two data storage.
The difference between this scenario and the standard (Glue-2011) SAP table to Storage scenario is that the source data is not read from SAP primary database but from external storage.
You can choose any storage that is supported by Datavard Storage Management. The only requirement is the data from the source storage must be stored in a structured form.
Datavard Glue extraction process reads the data from the source storage based on specified criteria, performs a transformation of the data and stores it in the target storage.
Below, you can find a step by step manual of how to set up and execute the extraction of data between 2 storage.
- Create source Glue Table based on the existing data structure on the source storage
- Create (Glue-2011) Glue Table Fetcher with previously created source Glue table
- Create target Glue Table defining the data structure on the target storage
- Create (Glue-2011) Glue Table Consumer using target Glue table
- Create (Glue-2011) Extraction Process with previously created Glue Table Fetcher and Glue Table Consumer
- Execute extraction
