(SP23) PIT Recovery Troubleshooting

Below you can find troubleshooting scenarios and the solution(s) to resolve the encountered issue(s).


Actions table on storage is missing. Not possible to synchronize.

This issue may occur during the synchronization process.


In this scenario, archive has been restored to a point, where PIT changelog did not exist yet.

In this case, it is possible to recover only if the archive has been restored to a point between last supported action (archiving, reloading, change of structure, Writer operations) and PIT changelog creation.

To resolve this issue run report /DVD/SM_HANA_CHL_GEN_ACTIONTAB for specific InfoProvider. Then continue as described in the section Synchronization Process.
