Due to technical limitations, it is not possible to use database triggers on BW systems on HANA. For more information see the Description chapter in CREATE TRIGGER Statement (Data Definition).
The database triggers are not needed for BW scenarios, because Datavard Glue supports special delta mechanisms:
- Changelog delta for DSOs
- Request delta for InfoCubes
