ISSUE DESCRIPTION

DAP reactivation or import of the DAP fails with a message: Alter table error - unsupported change.

ERROR DESCRIPTION

The fields of the cluster table have descriptions filled in the table /DVD/SM_HIVE_MAP. However the fields sent to alter table method don’t have descriptions. These fields are then marked for update, but update of the existing fields is currently not supported.

SOLUTION

Import the attached transport and execute report /DVD/NLS_CLEAR_FIELD_DESC for specific object or leave the selection empty to repair records for all NL objects.
