(Glue-2002) Generate Extractor Objects from BO

This section explains how you can generate Glue Extractor objects from defined Business Object (BO).

In “Business Objects“ screen you have two possibilities to generate technical objects. Firstly you need to find the BO within the “Business Objects” tree. Then you can either right-click on the desired BO and select Generate Objects or double-click the BO to display BO properties and then select Generate option from toolbar.

After selecting Generate Objects or pressing Generate option from the toolbar you will be redirected to Glue Objects Generation (transaction /DVD/GL_OBJ_GEN).
You can notice that the input parameters are pre-filled with values defined by BO template.

Pre-filled parameters are:

  • Source selection - Filled with tables defined within BO

  • Glue table name prefix - Filled with BO technical name

  • Extractor name prefix - Filled with BO technical name

Currently the Extractor 1.0 objects are generated for Business Objects.
