(DTERP-2002) Data validation

Data validation validates all archived data by comparing the hashes calculated during the archiving with the hashes of the archived data.

Prerequisites

The source must be mapped to a binary storage with parameter Compute hash turned on.


To validate the archived data, go to transaction /DVD/CRP_VLDT.

You can choose a specific Source ID and then the archiving sessions of this source. All the documents of these sessions will be validated.

If the source system is different than OutBoard Content Repository system (OutBoard DataTiering with ERP), make sure that the source has RFC callback set up. Otherwise the archiving sessions of this source won't be displayed in the search help.

If you know which exact documents you want to validate, you can directly fill in the Document ID field.
