New Features

  • Glue Extractors
    • SAP table to binary storage with data transformation – it is possible to apply data transformations when extracting SAP data into .csv files.
    • Option to skip the records during the extraction process. Use this link for more information.
    • Option to skip the initial full load when using a delta extraction. Use this link for more information.
    • JSON metadata for Glue tables and Glue requests is generated during an extraction into a binary storage.
  • Glue Management Tools
    • Expert: We have provided a set of tools useful for Glue setup and troubleshooting.

Improvements

  • Data Dictionary
    • Enable update functionality allows you to use different partitioning on the target table.
  • Glue extractors
    • Fieldname mapping – you can define custom global data, which you can then use in your own custom routines (see link for more information).
    • Improved error messages in logs during extraction.
  • Transport Management
    • The update operation is available for Glue objects transported using Glue TMS.
    • When importing objects through Glue TMS, the progress bar shows current import state.
  • Glue Authorizations
    • Glue Authorization was added for the Storage management setup (see link).

Fixes

  • Data Dictionary
    • Incorrect error handling when Glue table had 17 key fields.
    • The deleting table did not delete DSO extractor.
  • Glue Workbench
    • It was not possible to go to extractor manage screen when the extractor was open.
    • ABAP extraction ended with errors if data wasn't selected.
    • The first load for delta date based extraction replicated also future dates.
    • DSO Delta load from Manage screen was not working correctly.
    • The source object was missing in Extractor workbench for DSO and InfoCubes extractors.
    • ABAP code in routines was deleted in some cases.
  • Transport Management
    • Import of DSO extractor did not work.
    • Unable to import changes of extractor after the full load was performed on the target system.
    • It was not possible to import more than 10 objects using Glue TMS.
  • Object Navigator
    • Object Navigator tree displayed object texts for Glue tables from inactive version.
  • General
    • Domain values in Glue tables were missing.
    • Authorization object settings were overwritten by a transport.
