(DI-2202) Set up the Basis Module Add-on

This setup is required as the first step after Fiori and ODATA services of CrystalBridge® Monitoring product were enabled in a central system. This setup defines analyses that can be executed by CrystalBridge® Monitoring.

Adding a monitored satellite system

To make scheduling of Basis module collectors possible on a satellite system (i.e., a system to be monitored) this system must be present in the monitored system list and must have the correct monitoring area assigned. For information on how to add a satellite system to the list of the monitored systems, see the chapter Add a New System.

When a satellite system is successfully added to the list of monitored systems, a Basis module monitoring area must be assigned to it. To do this follow these steps:

1. In /DVD/MON transaction for CrystalBridge® Monitoring go to 'System Settings' (Shift + F5).

2. Select system to be monitored by Basis module collectors.

   Open

   

    

3. Double click on 'System mon. areas' in the dialog structure tree. 

4. Click on the 'New Entries' (F5) button. 

5. Add a new entry with the following value 'HMCCAE'.

   Open

   

    

6. Click Enter and save changes.

7. It will be possible to schedule the Basis module collectors for this satellite system now.
