The Datavard Insights Monitor is the central Cockpit of Datavard Insights for displaying all information stored on the central system and collected from satellite systems, which notifies occurred events by messages during monitoring. 

In addition, the Datavard Insights Monitor is the control center for all operations on monitored systems, such as collecting KPI, raising Alerts and sending notifications.

To run the Insights monitoring Cockpit, use the transaction: /DVD/MON


The Cockpit layout has following parts.

  1. Menu Bar - here you can find functionality like export/import of data, add and delete system, access to all settings, application and license information.
  2. Standard Toolbar - provide standardized SAP application functions.
  3. Title Bar - display interactive Datavard button with logo and application title.
  4. Application toolbar - provide button with basic functions RefreshAdd system and Start default monitoring.
  5. System Tree - here you can find interactive tree with added systems categorized in system groups.
  6. KPI Tree - here you can find interactive tree with all available KPIs categorized in KPI groups.
  7. Time Range Bar - serves to setup a time window from which you want to display monitoring result.
  8. Working Tabs - tabs where you can find specific information and set up some control. They are:
    1. System Info - information about last selected system.
    2. Collector Jobs - here you can see and set up collector jobs.
    3. KPI charts - display interactive charts of selected KPIs.
    4. KPI mix - tool for displaying multiple KPIs in one chart.
    5. Messages - application messages which occurred while monitoring.
    6. Details - display collected detail information from collectors.
    7. Alerts - show occurred alerts on monitored systems.
