New Features

  • Glue Extractors
    • SAP to Binary storage extractor - new extractor for replication of SAP table data into CSV files in binary storage. Use this link for more information.
  • Glue Extractors - BW specific
    • DSO extractors - extraction of DSO data into both transparent and binary storages. These extractors support also DSO changelog based delta.
    • InfoCube extraction to Binary storage - extraction of InfoCube data with Request ID based delta into CSV files on binary storage.
    • Query extraction to Binary storage - extraction of BEX Query data into CSV files in binary storage.
  • Glue Authorizations
    • Glue Authorizations are following standard SAP authorization concept. Using these authorizations, we organize the access to the different Glue feature. Use this link for more information.
    • Create, edit, and delete functionality of Glue object besides Glue variants is forbidden for systems which are not modifiable (based on the field CCNOCLIIND from table T000)
  • Selective Deletion
    •  Selective deletion enables you to delete data, which you have selected in Glue Data Browser through the transaction /DVD/GL_SEL_DEL. Use this link for more information.

Improvements

  • Business Process Library (BPL) improvements
    • BPL automatically renames table field if it is a reserved word
    • You can create BPL tables without GLREQUEST field
  • Data Dictionary
    • Improved support of relational database storages
    • Automized processing of tables that contain fields with SAP reserved words
  • Glue extractors
    • Numeric Value field attribute of type NUMC (length 14) can be used for TIMESTAMP delta extraction
    • Delta merge procedure reworked
    • Currency rules adjustments
    • You can delete multiple requests in the Manage functionality of extractor.
    • Extraction logs improved
    • Added search functionality in extractor field mapping
    • Expert: You have an option to delete the data after the extraction. Please note that this is a risky operation, contact our support for more information.
    • Expert: In the case of tables with high volumes, you can automatically generate variants to improve the performance of the data replication. Please contact our support for more information.
    • Expert: In extractor Delta Manage screen, it is possible to specify the value of timestamp, date, and value delta
    • Expert: In Trigger based delta for Oracle storage, you can manually enable/disable triggers
  • Transport Management
    • Glue Transport Management procedure was improved to add Glue objects to transport without releasing
    • Added support to add deletion transport without real deletion of Glue object on the source system 
    • Transporting extractors with transformations

    • Added option to collect Glue objects to workbench tasks

Fixes

  • Data Dictionary
    • Prohibit creation of Glue table if DDIC table with the same name already exists
  • Data Browser
    • Missing short texts in GL16
    • A combination of include range and exclude single pattern was fixed
    • Selection filter wasn't cleared after leaving the screen
    • Fields were displayed in the incorrect order in the selection screen
    • Fields with special characters were not working
    • Some fields were missing their field names
    • Filter on the decimal fields did not work
  • Glue Workbench
    • The tree wasn't refreshed after the activation/deactivation of variants
    • Option to deactivate all variants doesn't try do deactivate already deactivated variants
    • Currency conversion did not work for tables with data type INT4 in the key
    • It was not possible to activate extractor with cluster table
    • Extraction from Storage to Sap table for cluster table
    • The extraction failed if a table contained key fields starting with '.'
    • RAW fields removed from field import
    • Change of schema of a table with merge failed when activating
    • The wrong timestamp was shown in Delta Manage screen
    • Inconsistency in time in logs
