The generic collector for monitoring system log monitoring logs is named: /DVD/MON_CL_COL_SYSLOG
It collects KPIs about system logs. The KPIs are defined via through the KPI definition and other rules in the input table /DVD/MON_SLGMSG2.
Input The KPI is defined in the input table /DVD/MON_SLGMSG2 sets extended KPI definition with following these fields:

AREASystem log: message area (1st First part of message number)
SUBIDSystem log: Sub name (Third character of message name)
Problem class

Problem class for of the system log 

(E - Problems only, W - Problems and warningwarnings, A - All messages)

Priority

Priority for of the system log

(G - green, RA/RE - red wwith/o without alert, WH - white, YA/YE - yellow wwith/o without alert)

Category

Category for of the system log

(Application, Batch Input, Background processing, SAP Basis System, Operation trace, Database, Problem notification, Communications Communication data, Spool/print, Security, Transport)

The collector provides also a detailed output of KPIs in a detail table for relevant KPIs. The detail table is called: System log info - /DVD/MON_SLGINF2 with and contains the following fields:
