  • ASM-657: New info button in the pop-up windows for the excluded KPIs when starting collector job and in the show monitored KPIs functionality (more details)

  • ASM-1130: Added new configuration property “MINIMUM_RETENTION_TIME_IN_DAYS” to overwrite the existing default retention times used for collected data retention

    • This configuration property is available only if any content package related to transformations (DTS, TC) is imported into the central system (more details)

  • ASM-1172: New functionality to proactively check and kill the long-running WPs triggered by collector jobs on the remote system (when terminating the long-running collector job on the central system)

    • Added new configuration property “ALLOW_KILL_LRUN_WP_ON_REM_SYS” to be able to enable or disable this new functionality (more details)

  • ASM-1185: Extension of the KPI Creation wizard to support the creation of custom KPIs based on the KPI rules (input tables) (more info)

  • ASM-1195: Added new configuration property “PING_SERVER_SCENARIO” to be able to control the OS ping functionality for the servers (more details)

  • ASM-880: Optimization of the Collector for monitoring transmissions to not process too many records if SOST is not regularly maintained

    • Added new parameters “MINUTES_BACK” and “MAX_PROCESS_TO_DETAIL” to control the collector’s functionality and data volume processing (more details)

  • ASM-1137: Updated texts for the KPI monitoring status column when displaying the list of monitored KPIs for the selected collector job (more details)

    • Including also KPIs that are assigned to the monitoring profile, but are not monitored by any collector job

  • ASM-1171: Removed text “Details for” at the beginning of the descriptions for the affected detail tables

    • Lowercase used in the descriptions of detail tables

  • ASM-1182: Added new field into the detail table “ABAP Runtime Errors” to display also the package name of the program where ABAP runtime error occurred (more details)

  • ASM-1183: Consolidation of ambiguous texts used for GUI elements with the conflicting documentation parts

  • ASM-1194: Added new authorization (value “THFB” for the field RFC_NAME in the authorization object S_RFC) into the administrative role with name /DVD/MON_ADMIN

    • This authorization is required to call the standard function module ‘TH_SERVER_LIST’ when adding a new system through configured RFC connection with the administration user

Resolved issues

  • ASM-1146: Failure of the Collector for HANA High-Availability when HANA replication configured on the system

  • ASM-1148: Raising message “KPI ‘PARAM_CHANGED’ was not collected” when Collector for System profile parameter changes is executed for the first time (no data collected yet for the comparison) (more details)

  • ASM-1159: Reporting wrong KPI values for the total and used size of the extended memory (more details)

  • ASM-1174: Cannot copy license details when requesting a new license

  • ASM-1189: Terminating the functionality when saving data for collected detail tables, if the processing of one detail table fails

    • Improved error handling for unexpected scenarios when the processing of one detail table fails

  • ASM-1196: No KPI values collected for the system metrics on the Oracle database due to the invalid time zone setup

  • ASM-1198: Security issue of the function module /DVD/MON_RFC_DISC_SIZE

  • ASM-1216: Collector for Workload Statistics is hanging and consuming all free dialog work processes on the remote system
