  • ASM-961: Adjustments in the Collector for Memory, CPU, and Network load monitoring ((DI-2302) Collector for Disk, Memory, CPU, and Network Load Monitoring)

    • New KPIs for the disk with the highest response time monitoring:

      • DISK_OPERATIONS - Operations per sec. for a disk with the highest response time

      • DISK_TRANSFER_RATE - Transfer rate for a disk with the highest response time

    • Possibility to define custom KPI(s) based on new input table /DVD/MON_DISK_I1 ((DI-2302) Example: Response Time for Custom-specified Disk Name)

  • ASM-1106: New KPI group “HANA Tables” and alert threshold created for KPI “HDB_PART_CNT_ABX - HANA Table partitions above X million rows”

  • ASM-1112: Added new default monitoring areas for other databases (more details)

  • ASM-1119: Added new KPIs for paging area monitoring into the Collector for ABAP Memory monitoring (more details)

  • ASM-1120: New collector for SAP Landscape Transformation (SLT) replication monitoring (more details)

  • ASM-1123: New alert thresholds created for the following KPIs:

    • Warning: BTC_NUM_LONGRUN > 1 count

    • Warning: HDB_DISK_MAXLOG ≥ 75 %

    • Warning: HDB_DISK_MAXUSED ≥ 75 %

    • Warning: HDB_NETSERVRESPM > 1000 ms

    • Warning: HDB_THR_TIME_CAP > 1000 ms

    • Warning: ORA_CPU_USER ≥ 70 %

    • Warning: ORA_CPU_WAIT > 10 %

  • ASM-1134: Created a new functionality in the main collector class to explicitly remove specific KPIs from the collector’s monitoring scope due to some technical limitations

  • ASM-1135: Added new detail table “DB Tablespaces statistics (all)” to store details for all DB tablespaces (more details)

Improvements

  • ASM-1045: Compatibility with S/4 HANA 2022 FPS00 release

  • ASM-1077: Adjustments in the Collector for qRFC queue details to avoid long-running of this collector (more details)

    • Added new parameters to process and report only the top-N oldest inbound and outbound queues in error state

  • ASM-1081: Updated unit from “kB” to “MB” for physical and swap memory-based KPIs (technical names for these KPIs start with MEM* and SWAP* prefix) ((DI-2302) Collector for Disk, Memory, CPU, and Network Load Monitoring)

    • New KPIs “MEM_FREE_MB” and “MEM_FREE_SUM_MB” created due to the AppDynamics Dashboards compatibility

  • ASM-1082: Removed decimal places for the speed-relevant field in the detail tables “Number range info” and “BW: Number range info”

  • ASM-1103: Possibility to suppress the reporting of HANA threads with thread method “NoAction” into detail table “HANA DB Thread Info” (more details)

    • Added new parameter “SUPPRESS_NO_ACTION_THREADS”

  • ASM-1111: Created new structure types used for detail tables in the Collector for SAP Cloud connector due to the lower SAP NW SPs compatibility

  • ASM-1127: Adjustment to not expand already collapsed parent nodes in the KPI tree if its child nodes are expanded

  • ASM-1133: Added information about the minimal required authorization roles for PI users configured in HTTP destination for SAP NetWeaver AS Java monitoring ((DI-2302) Configuration of HTTP Destination for SAP NetWeaver AS Java)

  • ASM-1138: Adjustments in the Collector for Cross-System Locks (CSL) to not raise any error message if CSL is not active on the monitored system (more details)

  • ASM-1043: Changed technical name for the KPI group “Favorites KPI” to use one common naming format (renamed from “FAVOURITE” to “FAVORITE”)

Resolved issues

  • ASM-1041: Reporting the total disk size for the HANA database instead of its data size

  • ASM-1080: Wrong (buffered) messages from the KPI Creation wizard are displayed in the log output if the user displays the details for the occurred message

  • ASM-1100: If the customer name contains any special character (for example '&'), the incomplete email template is created when requesting a new license for the monitoring

  • ASM-1113: Period value is not updated automatically on the KPI Creation wizard screen based on provided monitoring profile name in the step “Collection settings”

  • ASM-1128: Failure of the Collector for Disk, Memory, CPU, and Network load monitoring

    • Occurred error “Execution of collector '/DVD/MON_CL_COL_MEM_CPU_LAN' failed! [INCLUDE:'/DVD/MON_CL_COL_MEM_CPU_LAN===CM004';LINE:'1']”

  • ASM-1143: Function module “/DVD/MON_COL_RFC_EGM“ called with the wrong exception name in method “/DVD/MON_CL_COL_BUFF->COLLECT_SERVER_DATA”

  • ASM-1144: Occurred unexpected exception “UNSUPPORTED_TYPE” when executing SQL collector on the S/4 HANA systems
