(DI-2205) Reporting

You can generate an offline report of KPI charts. To generate the report, click on Report Generator in the main menu.

In the Report generator screen, you can define the range of KPIs and systems, you want to view in the report. If you select the checkbox Involved in Alerts by threshold or by anomaly, all corresponding alerts within the specified time period will be displayed in the generated report.
You can also specify a KPI group or individual KPIs. If you specify multiple conditions, only KPIs which meet all of these conditions will be displayed. This doesn't apply to options Involved in Alerts by threshold and or by anomaly, where a KPI is displayed, when it meets at least one of these two selected options. The report is generated in HTML and can be saved on a front-end PC, on an application server, or can be sent through an e-mail. The Report generator can be scheduled as a background job, which can run on a regular basis and create reports for KPIs.

The following example of the Report generator selection screen shows how to display all HANA-specific KPIs(1) from the HD1 system(2), which were involved in alerts by threshold(1) for the last 7 days(3). The generator creates a report with attachment file name Alerts_on_HANA_<date>_<time>.html. This selection screen can be saved as a variant and the Report generator can be executed with the variant as a regular background job. In this example we have chosen the time period of 7 days, therefore the user will automatically receive an email report every week. _{Selection screen settings}
