BEx Analyzer testing tests excel-based reporting analyses (i.e. last level of reporting) created using BEx Analyzer reporting tool embedded with Microsoft Excel. Data in each workbook are refreshed and downloaded into system for comparison.
Restrictions
Datavard Validate BEx Analyzer testing does not support execution of a reports with user-defined initial filters. It is currently not possible to fill these kind of filters. User should choose for testing only reports which can be fully displayed without any need of manual input.

Prerequisites for BEx Analyzer testing
In Microsoft Excel application add excel add-in BExAnalyzer.xla to Excel Add-ins. It can be ussualy found in folder C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\SAP Shared\BW. For successful testing it is necessary to have this add-in.
