The Generate by Scenario functionality enables you to generate the table variants based on the scenario. You can access it from the Table Variants screen.

 

  1. Report - /DVD/VL01_TVAR_GEN_SC_HANDLER


    Report to create the scenario with the variant details
    Processing steps can be specified here (Before image/ After image)
    The parameters and their value can be specified here
    The report supports additional functionality like creating, changing, and deleting the scenario

  2. The scenario can be created for before image and after image parameters

  3. The scenario cannot be created only for after image, to create after image variant, before image parameters should be defined

  4. For creating the Scenario:
    Click on the Generate by Scenario button
    Select the scenario name from the search help
    Provide the Source RFC (for before image)
    Provide the Target RFC (for after image)

  5. Generate the variants based on the scenario parameters

  6. Variant will be created with the provided details

  7. Save the variants created
