Glue Scheduler can be accessed also via the SNP Glue™ Cockpit.

Glue Scheduler is a new central place for job scheduling. It is a replacement for the previous Delta watchdog and Extraction Scheduler. Compared to the previous implementation, it is more modular and has improved execution logic.

To convert the old tools into Glue Scheduler instances, please refer to the Migration Report for Delta Watchdogs and Extraction Scheduler.

Job name

Name for the scheduler job

Job class

Classification of the scheduler job according to priority

Job user

Username for the scheduler job execution

Execution target

Application server / job group for the scheduler job

Execution type

  • Standard batch execution

  • Streaming - continuos job, also scheduled after system start
