(Glue-2405) Glue Scheduler Simplified

This guide will show you how to schedule and run extractions through Glue Scheduler. Before you schedule and run extractions make sure you have created Extraction objects as seen in (Glue-2405) Extraction of SAP Table or (Glue-2405) Objects Generation for the Extraction of SAP Table.

1. Start transaction /DVD/GLUE and click Glue Scheduler.

2. In Glue Scheduler, click Create. Enter the name of the new scheduler and choose the type EXT2. Confirm.

3. The new scheduler will be created. Click Edit.

4. Set Package size (MB) to 100, Max number of jobs set to 2, and choose from dropdown Load type ‘Full Load (Repair) Without Delta Update’.

5. Click Plus and choose the extraction processes that you want to schedule:

6. Click on the Schedule button. Here you can choose when you want to run the extraction jobs. For now, use Immediately.

7. Save the Scheduler settings and click Display. Click Start.

8. You can watch the progress of replication after clicking on Refresh or accessing the Extraction monitor by clicking on Monitor.
