(Glue-2311) SNP Glue™ Mass Activation/Deactivation

Transaction: /DVD/GL_MASS_ACT

Report for mass activation, deactivation, force deactivation, deletion, and force deletion of SNP Glue™ tables, Extractors, Variants, Extractor 2.0 objects, and Queues, and complete Glue deactivation.

There is a select option for each SNP Glue™ object and a checkbox associated with it.

If you want to e.g. activate some Variants, the associated checkbox needs to be selected.

The checkbox allows you to leave the select option for Variants filled, in case you want to Activate, Deactivate, or Delete other objects and then come back to Variants.

It also provides additional security so that no objects are Activated or Deactivated by accident.

For every select option, an F4 Help is provided based on which radio button from Activate, Deactivate, or Delete is selected.

If Activate is selected F4 Help provides inactive (saved) objects:

If Deactivate is selected F4 Help provides active objects:

If Delete is selected F4 Help provides active and saved objects:

The button Show objects is used for displaying objects that are going to be Activated/Deactivated/Deleted.

Objects are also displayed according to which radio button from Activate, Deactivate, or Delete is selected.

The program is executable in dialogue (Execute) or can be scheduled for a background job (Execute in BG).

Force deactivation and force deletion

Force deactivation and force deletion allow the deactivating or deleting of corrupted SNP Glue™ objects without connection to the external storage.

Complete Glue deactivation

Complete Glue deactivation is a tool that can be used to force deactivate all active Glue objects - SNP Glue™ tables, Extractors, Variants, Extractor 2.0 objects, and Queues, and also to stop active Glue schedulers. If the database schema in Glue metadata differs from the default system database schema, a metadata update will be performed.

You can access the Complete Glue Deactivation functionality in the menu at the top of the screen under the Advanced tab. Within this tab, there are two sub-tabs:

Execute: Displays an information pop-up and enables the user to execute Complete Glue deactivation.

Show all objects: Lists all the objects that will be deactivated.
