(DV-2302) Variant Editor

Variant Editor serves as a central place for managing existing SNP Validate variants in the system. It provides standard functions to create variants the same as are available for specific Test Cases. This enables you to create variants without the need to directly add them into existing Test Cases. Variant Editor displays each type of supported variant in separate tabs.

Following Test Types Variants are supported in Variant Editor:

  • Query
  • ListCube
  • Table
  • DrillDown
  • Transformations
  • Report
  • WebTemplate

The following functions are available only in Variant Editor on top of standard functions:

  • Delete Variants: Permanently remove a variant from the system
  • Transport Variants: Add variants definition to transport request

Variant Editor is available through the SNP Validate Test Management screen by clicking on the Variant Editor button.

It is possible to search for variants using the Find (CTRL+F) functions. Only variants of the displayed type are used in the search.
