(DV-2205) Checking RFC connection

SNP Validate has an utility for checking the RFC connection. The utility can be executed via transaction /DVD/VAL_CHECK_RFC and can be found also under SNP Validate’s user menu:

Screen for entering RFC destination which should be checked is displayed after entering the transaction.

It is possible to do checks also on different users on the remote system via chosen RFC destination. Option Bypass Buffer do the check with clearing of previous buffered values.

After execution, a popup window is displayed with all basic information coming from RFC destination definition on the local system

  • check existence of remote system and get his main system information like system ID, SAP release (version of SAP_BASIS component), Kernel release, main application server, IP address, database system, operating system, number of free dialog work-processes
