(DTERP-2205) Legal Hold via SNP OutBoard™ DataFridge

To put certain archiving sessions under a Legal Hold, it is required to use SNP OutBoard™ DataFridge functionality for the creation of Legal Holds.

Note: It is sufficient to run through these steps until the “Copy Metadata“ point (including). Standard Legal Hold procedure copies transparent data and attachments into separate tables and folders. However, this is not required in this case. It would prevent standard SAP transactions from displaying archived data if data archives would move to a different location.

Setting up the enhancement point for data aging

If the Legal Hold is created as described above, it is important to create an Enhancement Implementation for Enhancement Spot /DVD/RMX_DEL_BUCKETID_CHECK. SNP OutBoard™ DataFridge includes pre-created class /DVD/RMX_SARA_LH_BADI, which adds a special logic for retention evaluation of SARA files.
