(Glue-2111) (Deprecated) FIFO Consumer
This Functionality was replaced with (Glue-2111) Glue Queue Consumer.
The FIFO Consumer stores data in a FIFO cluster table in a byte string form. This enables to save data from the source in the fastest way. Later on, this data can be read using the (Glue-2111) (Deprecated) FIFO Fetcher.
Creation of FIFO Consumer
Perform steps outlined in How to Create a Consumer Object with the option FIFO Consumer under the Component implementation dropdown of step 4.
Activation of FIFO Consumer
After creation, the object is in the saved state. For activation, all mandatory inputs need to be filled.
- DDIC structure
- name of the DDIC structure/table describing the structure of data
FIFO queue
Upon execution of an extraction process, the data is written to the FIFO cluster table with the unique identifier - FIFO queue, which equals the name of the FIFO Consumer.
