(DTERP-2111) Performance Monitoring

From release 2108 there is a possibility to monitor the performance of the storage HTTP requests. This may help to troubleshoot, improve performance or answer some of the customer's questions.

Prerequisites

ERP Archiving release 2108 or higher.

Performance monitoring enabled.

 

Display available statistics

Report /DVD/CRP_STAT_DISPLAY is able to display available data.

Selection screen:

Output:

Command - HTTP command - get, create, append, etc.

Document ID - Unique document identifier

Component ID - Component ID, usually file name

Timestamp - Date and time of the request

Overall Runtime - Time from start to finish of the HTTP request

Storage Runtime - Time taken by the storage operations

Set SM attribute - Usually time spent creating a file

Write package  - Time spent writing the file

Read package  - Time spent reading the file

Delete package - Time spent deleting a file

Drop Container - Time spent dropping a container

Number of components - One request can contain multiple files

Average size - Average file size of the request in bytes

Clean Up report

Report /DVD/CRP_STAT_DELETE can be used to delete records accumulated during the time performance tracking is switched on.
