Various tag functionalities are provided based on the project and shouldn't be used without a consultation with a Datavard consultant. By default, tag functionalities don't fall under standard support services for Validate. if not stated otherwise. 

Tags are special attributes of variants that define if a specific functionality should be executed for a variant. The number of tags that can be set for a variant isn't limited. 
Each tag can influence a different phase of the variant execution (e.g. Filter creation, Data saving, etc.).

Tag functionalities

  • COPA table filter

During the execution of a variant, created on top of a COPA data source table, a dynamic filter is created automatically, which excludes delta queue records.

  • DTP request-based filter

During the execution of a table variant, created on top of a WODS table or an InfoCube E-table, a filter is enhanced to exclude the unfinished DTP request data.
