(Glue-2108) Consumer

The Consumer object is responsible for the part of the data write to the target. A target can be any data target that supports data storing.

Provided types of Consumer object:

• (Glue-2108) Glue Table Consumer
• (Glue-2108) SAP Table Consumer
• (Glue-2108) Glue Queue Consumer
• (Glue-2108) FIFO Consumer (obsolete)

How to Create a Consumer Object 

1. Run the transaction /DVD/GL80 to open (Glue-2108) Object Navigator
2. In the context menu of the desired package select option Create Extractor 2.0 object
   
3. Enter the name of the new Consumer in Object name and a short description about in Description
4. Select Consumer under the Component type dropdown and the desired Consumer implementation under the Component implementation dropdown 
5. Confirm the popup
