(DI-2105) Parameters of Collectors

To change parameters of a collector, follow these steps

1. Go to the Settings > Collector settings (transaction /DVD/MON_COL).
2. Select a collector name from the below mentioned list.
3. Double-click Parameters.
4. Check the list of available parameters.
   1. each parameter has its own default value which cannot be changed. You might change this value in next step.
5. Select a parameter for which you want to adjust its value
6. Double-click the sub-node Custom values.
7. Click New Entries (F5)
8. Enter the Profile name. This field defines for which profile will be this custom value of parameter applied. There are two possibilities how you can define the profile name:
   1. Profile name without pattern - you need to fully specified the existing profile name (you might use the F4 help for this field).
      
   2. Profile name with pattern - you might use the wildcard '*' to apply this custom parameter value for multiple profiles. Examples: 
      • *  : apply for all profiles
      • Z* : apply for all profiles which name starts with Z. 

      • *5MIN : apply for all profiles which name ends with substring 5MIN 
        

        Please try to avoid of setup for non-unique combinations when using the patterns in profile name.

        For example, the three values mentioned above (*, Z*, *5MIN) are not unique for the profile 'ZDEF_5MIN' (in such case, it will select the value defined for profile Z*, not for *5MIN). 

        

9. Set the custom Value for this parameter
