(Glue-1911) SAP Table Fetcher
SAP Table Fetcher use SAP table as a data source. For data read provide multiple Delta types and Load types. It also supports the filtering on selected data.
Creation of SAP Table Fetcher
Perform steps in Creation of Fetcher object with SAP Table Fetcher option selected in Component implementation dropdown of step 4.
Activation of SAP Table Fetcher
After creation, the object is in the saved state.
Mandatory inputs to fill before the activation
- SAP Table
- name of SAP table for data read
- provided with F4 help
- Delta type
- a dropdown menu with all available delta types

- Load type
- default extraction type
- changeable before each extraction
- for more information see Load type
Optional inputs before the activation
- Selection
- checkbox for each field of the SAP table for which select option will be displayed before the start of extraction
Delta type
SAP Table Fetcher provide multiple delta types:
- FULL, DATE, TMSTMP, VALUE, VALUE_DIST

By activation of SAP Table Fetcher with delta type TRIGGER, the keeping of newly added records is not automatically turned on (mentioned in the link above).
There are two ways on how to turn this on:
- execute extraction with any Load type except basic Full Load (Repair) Without Delta Update
- manually activate triggers by use of (Glue-1911) Trigger Management functionality accessible by Manage Trigger button
