When connecting to the 'Analytics events' account of the customer, the following error message occurs:

Reason and prerequisites

An API key has not been properly generated; there were insufficient authorizations set during its generating.

Solution

How to generate the API key is described in this guide.

Once the API key is generated, it has to be inserted into /DVD/APPD_CUST and changes have to be saved as well.
