InfoCube replicates InfoCube data into external storage.

To create the InfoCube extractor

  1. Go to Extractor Workbench.

  2. Right-click on InfoCube to Storage and choose Create Extractor.

  3. Specify the following parameters:

    • Extractor name – technical name of the extractor.

    • Description description of the extractor.

    • Extractor type this value is predefined, for this type of extractor select theInfoCube to Storage extractor.

    • Source InfoCube – source from which the data is transferred. In this case InfoCube.

    • Target tablename of the created target (Glue) table. For information on how to create a Glue table, see (Glue-2002) Create a Glue Table.

  4. Define the fieldname mapping between the source and the target.

    Source fields must contain InfoObject names.

Use Import Fields to load automatically detected fieldname mapping. You can still change the topic afterwards if needed.

  2. Optionally, you can select the checkbox "Automatically adjust target table structure" during extraction run, which will automatically alter the target Glue table in case any new InfoObjects were added to the source InfoCube.

  3. Save and activate.
