SNP Validate is delivered in the form of transport requests with all available functionalities functions included. We provide SNP provides SNP Validate together with Reuse Library, which is necessary for those customers , who have not already received it with the other SNP products.
All users working with SNP Validate (including RFC users executing activities on remote SAP systems) require the authorization role /DVD/VALIDATE, which is included in the SNP Validate installation transports.
While executing tests in SNP Validate, standard authorization checks on data visibility may be applied. It is therefore important that all users who are responsible for the actual execution of the test…
- in case the tests are performed locally, this is the user who triggered the test execution
- in case the tests are performed remotely, this is the user who is defined in the corresponding RFC connection
Ensure all users have all the required authorizations assigned to be able to see relevant data and execute the required test object.
...
Example: if we want to compare balances via the corresponding report between source and target (different RFC connections) for a given company code, the user defined in these connections need to be authorized to see the content for the selected organization units. Otherwise, the report would not return any data and due to missing authorizations.
Note |
---|
The authorization role /DVD/VALIDATE may can introduce new authorizations with the new SNP Validate 's version. Therefore it is required to , you must regenerate the corresponding authorization profile after each new SNP Validate 's update. |
