- SAP with ABAP Stack 7.0.1 SP 19 or higher
- SNP Storage Management prerequisites required to establish connectivity with external resources are described within pages Storage Management Latest Release.
Installation
The SNP Glue content is delivered with transport requests and must be imported using the Transport Management System (transaction STMS).
A complete SNP Glue transport contains two components:
- Reuse Library
- SNP Glue
Import of transports step by step
For each component mentioned above, you must:
- Copy transports into a transport directory of a target SAP system.
- Access the Transport Management System by entering the transaction STMS.
Transport Management System
- Select the target system.
Target system selection
- Add the particular transports via the menu Extras > Other Request > Add.
Transport selection
Select the desired transport and import it by clicking the icon
. Warning Please note that some parts of the software are client dependent, therefore need to be inserted into productive client.
In case you want to extract the data from multiple clients, the transports must be imported to all the relevant ones
- Access the SNP Glue Cockpit by entering the transaction /DVD/GLUE in the target system.
License installation
Within the first run, the license must be installed. The license for SNP Glue is either time-bound and expires after a certain time period, or is unlimited (until 31.12.9999). As the license is bound to a system, every new system with installed SNP Glue requires a new license.
SNP Glue license installation
In SNP Glue Cockpit, click on License > License.
A new dialog appears. Here you enter all license information. If you do not possess a license, you can obtain one by contacting our Support team.
Uninstallation
Contact our Support team by sending an email to product_support@snpgroup.com in case you would like to uninstall SNP Glue.
