When a BEx Analyzer Test case is added to the Test Plan, a new Test Run is automatically created. The Test Run has a generated Run ID and the description holds the technical name of the Test Plan. All of the BEx Analyzer Variants selected during the creation of the BEx Analyzer Test Case are automatically added into the Variant selection. By clicking on on the 'Execute' button, the a screen for the standard BEx Analyzer Testing scenario is displayed.

Before the first run of Before Image execution and After Image execution, the user is required to provide logon information to the system. All documents should have the same source system. Choose connection type according to your system landscape. With Application server provide System number, with Message server provide Group. If provided logon data are not valid, the workbook cannot be refreshed and the execution will end with an error. Logon data can be also changed by click clicking on ‘Change logon’ button . |

By clicking on the 'Execute Comparison' button in the toolbar or by clicking on the execute button on the right side of folder, all of the variants in the test run in the before and after images are compared. To execute comparison for a single variant, use the compare button on the right side of each variant.
Display results
By clicking on the 'Results' button in the toolbar or double click on clicking on the in the BEx Analyzer Testing screen, the results are displayed.
All variants and their identified BEx objects and Worksheets are displayed on the screen. Double click on the table name to see additional information about BEx object or a worksheet, the data is displayed on the right side of the screen. Differences in before and after image are highlighted by in red.

You can find a reset button on the right side of each variant allowing you to reset a single variant.
Exclude range
By double click clicking on the document name in the test run (before image or after image) you can set ranges on worksheets which will not be tested.
